Citra terakhir satelit GMS (tanggal 23 Oktober 2008, jam 4.00 GMT) menunjukkan konsentrasi awan yg luar biasa di wilayah jawa, sumatera dan beberapa daerah lain di selatan ekuator. Arah angin dominan datang dari arah barat laut.
